Growing up she was had a surplus of musical inspiration, whether it was going through her mother's extensive CD collection, listening to the mixtapes her dad made for her, or singing along with her grandma on long car rides, Rai always connected with music in a deep way. As an artist, she understands that music isn't just something to fill the background, it is a medium through which we live our lives. It is the accompaniment for our memories and a capsule for our feelings, because of that it becomes a shared space for all people to connect in.
